We collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we never read what you pray. That's the whole posture. Everything below is the same promise in more detail.
Account basics: the email you sign up with, and a first name if you choose to give one. That's what lets you log in and keep your place.
App usage we need to run the service: session lengths, streak counts, and which apps you've chosen to silence. Basic device and reliability data so the app works on your phone.
The content of your prayers. The text of anything you write in a session. Your contacts, your photos, or your precise location.
We don't build an advertising profile on you, and we don't track what you do in other apps outside a prayer session.
To run the app, keep your streak, and personalize the Scripture and prompts you see. To send the occasional note — but only the ones you opted into.
We never use your data to target ads, and we never sell or rent it. Full stop.
Blocking happens on your device. To silence apps during a session, your phone's operating system asks you to grant a focus or screen-time permission. You're always in control of it.
That permission lets us hold the line during prayer. It does not let us see which other apps you open the rest of the day.
A small number of service providers under contract — hosting, email delivery, crash reporting — who process data only on our instructions.
If the law requires it, we may disclose information to comply. Beyond that: never advertisers, never data brokers, never a sale.
You can ask to see the data we hold, export it, or delete your account and everything tied to it. You can unsubscribe from any email with one tap.
To make any of these requests, email privacy@getseekfirst.app and we'll take care of it.
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain it.
SeekFirst isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account.
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and move the date at the top. For anything significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email first.
